I am new to the forum and currently wrapping up the taper sessions. I started feeling ALOT better after less than 2 weeks so when I started having anxiety around session 13, it was a bit disconcerting. When I mentioned it to the team, they started doing bilateral treatments. I started feeling worse – mood drops in addition to the anxiety and started feeling better 1 week ago. It certainly has been a roller coaster. I’m still not feeling as well as I did towards the beginning of treatment and really hoping things right themselves. For those of you experiencing anxiety during the TMS treatments, was there any improvement at the completion of therapy?

I am doing #35 tomorrow. I had a similar – felt good at start, felt terrible and now it seems to have balanced somewhere in the middle. Any improvement is worth it. From all the reading that i’ve Done, it can improve even weeks after you complete treatment. Never give up hope! The best we can do for each other is support one another!

Thank you for the reassurance sunnybrook. I have a friend who had it done and only started to feel better 3 weeks after her last session. So I am hopeful that improvement will be felt soon. So grateful for your support!

I experienced improvement several weeks after completing treatment (48 sessions). I was really afraid that nothing was going to happen and that TMS would be a fail. My doctor suggested that I take a break and see what might happen during that period. I am pleased to report that it was during that time off that I noticed an distinct improvement in my condition.
