I just finished treatment 15 of 36 last Friday. I’ve read all about the “dip” and I’m not sure if that is what I’m experiencing. I feel incredibly irritable- the slightest thing makes me want to scream. I don’t ever remember feeling like this before.
After day 5 I told my husband I felt lighter- I honestly felt less of a weight on myself. I also shared that I thought I hated myself less than the week before. I was super excited about treatment at that point. Now, a few weeks later, I’m feeling depressed, edgy, and in a nasty mood. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.
In addition to depression, I have pretty bad anxiety. I haven’t noticed a change in my anxiety levels, and from what I’ve heard, TMS may not help with that.
I’m feeling that I have to bite my lip or I will lash out and say something I don’t mean. It’s difficult to describe, but it’s something that I did not experience before I started treatment.
On a side note, I’m so happy I found this site- reading so many positive stories has given me a bit of hope to stay the course and that this will work.

It has been my experience that treating using standard location with standard approach can increase anxiety. Switching to the right side with low frequency can be helpful and research from Australia shows that right side 1 Hz was just as helpful as left side 10 Hz

I quit TMS tonight. It elevated my heart rate bad after 12 treatments. I know the elevated heart rate is related to this treatment. They want to treat the right side of the brain tomorrow but I’m not going back. It’s not good. I’m going back to the energy practioner I saw before TMS. Energy work gently lifts depression and eases anxiety.

I had an EKG and blood work tonight. Paramedics were over on Friday. All due to the high heart rate. It’s scary. I know anxiety, I can calm myself. This TMS disrupts the nervous system. I am grateful to have read others experiences on this sight. TMS is playing with fire. I really feel bad for those on this site who can’t turn off their anxiety after tms treatments. What I’ve experienced as well and this new TMS induced anxiety is hell. I’m just grateful I’m stopping after 12 sessions.
