Colleen, thanks so much for your post! My second treatment left me feeling shaky for hours. No sleep, but still had late night anxiety, despite being on Librium. My doctor mentioned something very interesting. He said that 30% of patients have their brain circuitry flipped, so depression is on the right and anxiety on the left. He said we might need to change it to the left. I decided to try again over the holidays at the end of the year since I have vacation saved up. I have severe anxiety that is sometimes characterized as PTSD. I was so hopeful bc I have tried nearly ever medication with no help, save just a few. I’m so happy that TMS helped you!

Thank you Dee for your reply. My short-lived experience is like yours. I was taking Ativan and it was consistently failing me. My doctor switched me to Librium which was life-changing in and of itself, so I had even higher hopes for tms and my anxiety and sleep. I am starting to wonder about the data in anxiety patients receiving tms-r. This is the second night in a row I’ve woken up in panic. I’m going to try and continue, but it feels like I’m on steroids.
