Tagged: Chair setup
I am my doctor’s first patient. I am having a problem with how they setup the chair. The first 3 times were fine but the next two times I had to slide my body forward and did not have neck support so I ended up with sore neck.
It may not be the chair. I’ve found the treatment itself causes tension in my neck and shoulders, but definitely insist on neck support.
Hi mlbaustin2 – I’m sorry to here that you are experiencing problems with the chair setup. I’m currently working on an on-going TMS research study and how it pertains to patients specifically. I’m looking to speak to people who are undergoing TMS treatments and get a sense of the experience (what people like and dislike, feedback on the design, areas for improvement, etc) and would love to get your opinion (and happy to compensate you for your time!) Would you be interested in something like this?
I would love to give you my opinions/insights. I was Patient One with my psychiatrist and there was a learning curve for everyone, but we are there now. I just had #17 and I am off all anti-depressents. Plus, just received EOB confirmation; covered 100%!!!! Hallelujah
@mlbaustin2 that is fantastic, I am so happy to hear that! It sounds like you’ll have some amazing insight and I look forward to speaking with you about your experiences. I’ll email you from the following address – phillyuserresearch@gmail.com (my name is Kerry by the way!) and we will take it from there. I’ll just have some additional questions for you and then we can move into getting you scheduled for an interview if all goes well! Thank you again for your response, and I am so happy for you!
