Tagged: Marijuana
Hello,
I am a 45 year old man with severe anxiety and depression, as well as chronic pain and migraines resulting from brain trauma in an accident years ago.
I am wondering if certain medications or marijuana can interfere with TMS treatment or diminish its effects.
I have weaned myself off many of the medications I was previously on, including an anti-depressant (Cymbalta) and an ADD medication (Vyvanse), but I still take THC/CBD oil for my pain/anxiety. I also take Gabapentin and Baclofen, which I believe are pretty mild medications, and occasionally take Klonopin when my anxiety is really bad or I feel a panic attack coming on. My goal is to get off the klonopin completely, but I am just not there yet.
I’m hoping that I can continue to take the marijuana as it is one of the only things that even remotely helps me.
Any thoughts or information would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Albert 🙏
