I am considering TMS; I wouldn’t call myself treatment resistant but the antidepressant I have been on for 6 mo.s is not helping. I’m taking Wellbutrin, and an anti psychotic, so I will be looking at those forums here in a minute. My musing currently is do I ‘jump start’ recovery as it were, or continue with a different antidep?
The antidep I am on is the first time I’ve ever taken any antidep, so, typically, do patients continue searching for a med, the trial and error method, or is the jump start method viable?
It also sounds to me that during TMS most, if not all patients, taper off of most or all meds… Am I correct in thinking this?
