I have clinical depression and have taken SSRI’s For 18 years.
Got sick of the SSRI for reasons I won’t go into so I heard of the TMS and giving it a shot .
I am aware that there are no miracle cures for anything .
No progress as of week 4, but still staying strong as possible.
Will update at end of treatment.
Hi proracer45x!
Just found this web site and yours is the most recent post so I thought I’d reply. I started dTMS two weeks ago and feel like I’ve reverted to being worse. However, I have found on this forum that a lot of people experience what they call “the dip” and that it does get better. Also, a lot of people say it takes many treatments before there is a breakthrough.
It would be nice to hear from some of the long-timers on this thread, but I don’t know whether they will be watching newer threads.
I plan on sticking with it to the end (even though I find that the treatments hurt). Hope you do too and experience good results!
Hey aleruna
any updates on your progress? i did 36 sessions of rTMS and just started another 36. I experienced the dip period around that time too and it sucks a lot. i hope you’re out of it now and that TMS helped!
Hi Fatigued,
I have two more treatments to do before I reach 36 and, so far, I’m not feeling better. I’m still the same old grumpy, unmotivated, tired person who can’t sleep well. I’m wondering whether I might be able to/have to do more treatments. Just gotta wait and see.
Keep me apprised of how you’re doing. Hope you reach the transformation point!
hey! i made a thread to document my second round of TMS under “Documentation of Second Round of TMS” because i barely see any mention of people doing another 36. i’m gonna try to update often in there so people can read about what that entails. it’s been kinda scary cause i’m not sure what to expect but i’m praying it works!
