TMS is a very standard outpatient procedure, often times done right at the doctor’s office or clinic. Though not as common, it is not unusual to receive TMS at a hospital. However, because no sedatives or anesthesia is administered during TMS treatment, TMS patients can immediately resume normal daily activities and do not need hospitalized for treatment.
