NEW TMS DEVICE FOR TRAINING AND RESEARCH

Hello,

I am the founder of a start up company that will be introducing a new device to the market. As our company is not far off the ground we are still in the research and development phase. We are attending a national science foundation (NSF) class that introduces researchers to the necessities in creating a successful start up company. Part of this class is validating that there is a need for our device without directly stating what its purpose is. If anyone is interested in improving the TMS certification process or introducing a new modality for those that research TMS I would like to open a conversation here that discusses the pitfalls in these areas. Consider these questions as well:

What was your experience in getting certified to administer TMS?
In your opinion how easy is it to transition between devices from different manufacturers?
What is your background with TMS, and what milestones have you found most impactful with your work?
