To TSE:
Energy healers are out there – they help with chakras, energy meridians, etc. There are reiki healers available. If your town has an Aikido Center, they may offer Elan – form of energy healing. Accupuncture is very helpful, and so is massage. TMS is complete B.S. and these psychiatrists that work for these TMS corporations know it. Good luck – sorry you are going through this. Many times information about energy healers can be found at your local metaphysical bookstores as well….

Gig, try Chinese accupuncture, and their herbal recommendations. That’s a good start. Also try some form of energy work that helps calm the nervous system. Meetup.com has groups that meet for energy work, if money is a concern.
Wonder if it was deleted because you posted a helpful link to report a complaint to the FDA on this TMS quackery. Glad you found an actual medical professional to help. Best wishes.
I also found swimming to be helpful. The local Y’s usually have a swimming pool operating year round.
So sorry for your friend. I’ve noticed I’m not able to call up names like I used to. Probably another side effect of that horrifying TMS. Please tell your friend to try accupuncture. After 13 sessions of TMS which caused me to have a racing heart and the worst anxiety I’ve ever felt, I turned to accupuncture and felt immediate relief. My insurance covers my accupuncture, 20 co-pay. If not insured, I think accupuncture costs 40 a session. Around that. Even once or twice a month is beneficial.
I was told the exact same thing — that there was no way that the TMS could have increase my anxiety and caused my heart palpitations (racing – it was so scary). But they are lying. It is the TMS that is causing everything you are going through now. You can heal. It just takes time.
I hope those who have suffered because of this TMS are healing and feeling better.
Well, what we have in common is the TMS treatment. TMS induced anxiety is horrifying and as all the people posted, there is a massive distinction. We know the anxiety we had before TMS – we know that anxiety very well. TMS induced anxiety is extreme and leaves you feeling terrified for a long period of time. Whereas anxiety before TMS, just caused me to feel panic for a mere three or four minutes. I hope a lawsuit is brought against TMS Solutions. I am praying that my brain and heart heals from that TMS. I sat in the lobby of that TMS place and heard that tapping sound (someone in treatment) and realized that cannot be good for the brain and that sound has to also cause hearing damage for those in treatment. Something is way off regarding this treatment.

So sorry MHick – I just now saw your comment. I really hope you are feeling better. I am still having anxiety attacks – not as bad, but I know it’s because of that TMS treatiment. Before TMS, I would have a three minute panic attack with heart palpitations. Now, my heart rate is off for 30 minutes, I feel like I am going to freak out (whereas before TMS, I would tell myself calmly, “This is just a panic attack that will go away quickly.”) . TMS induced anxiety is terrifying and I am not exaggerating. You know the difference – anxiety before TMS versus after. Because of TMS causing me to have a scary elevated heart rate that would wake me from sleep, I went to acupuncture for months, and saw an energy practitioner. They helped me a lot. I thought I was better, and did not see them in January that was a mistake because I’ve had at least 4 panic attacks in January, so I will return to acupuncture. I can’t believe this fraudulent, dangerous TMS treatment is available to innocent people seeking relief. I hope TMS gets banned. I can’t help but think psychiatry equals quackery and greed.

I’m so sorry for your experience. I am currently in TMS induced anxiety hell. After 12 treatments, my heart rate was elevated high. Bad. Just had an EKG and blood work. I’m ok, but have to follow up with physician. I’m not going back. They were going to treat the right side tomorrow to reduce anxiety. I’m going back to an energy practioner. Energy work is gentle, reduces anxiety, puts you back in your body, and does not tax the nervous system. TMS is scary. I think it’s detrimental….
I had an EKG and blood work tonight. Paramedics were over on Friday. All due to the high heart rate. It’s scary. I know anxiety, I can calm myself. This TMS disrupts the nervous system. I am grateful to have read others experiences on this sight. TMS is playing with fire. I really feel bad for those on this site who can’t turn off their anxiety after tms treatments. What I’ve experienced as well and this new TMS induced anxiety is hell. I’m just grateful I’m stopping after 12 sessions.
I quit TMS tonight. It elevated my heart rate bad after 12 treatments. I know the elevated heart rate is related to this treatment. They want to treat the right side of the brain tomorrow but I’m not going back. It’s not good. I’m going back to the energy practioner I saw before TMS. Energy work gently lifts depression and eases anxiety.
