It certainly helped. Not a cure all, but my deep depression really lessoned. Just stay positive, trust the process, and know it may be an up and down journey. It starts to show more towards the end of treatment. Enjoy!

Hey there, so I went in for my first session today. I filled out some paperwork and then the mapping began. The doctor was very thorough and helpful. . After that the session started. 2 second pulses or tapping with 20 second breaks for 20 minutes. They started with a lower intensity today, and will increase tomorrow going to max on Monday. The tapping was intense and a little uncomfortable…but I really enjoyed it. It felt almost meditative. You can bring a magazine or use your cell phone but I wanted to be securely in place and didn’t use the magazine I brought. After the session I felt elated and full of energy. The doctor said this is very common the first few days following treatment and that sleep may be hard in the evening at first. I went to target, the elation wore off but I felt too hyped like I had 5 cups of coffee at once and feared I looked like I was on drugs, lol. I came home and have been resting all afternoon. A little spaced out , tired and energetic at the same time, and a background sense of well being. My second session is tomorrow. Wish me luck. I’m scared about the seizure risk but my mood stabilizer lamictal is also anti seizure, and no issues today. I’ll keep you all updated.

Thank you Ben, I read the post, and it gives me more hope. I feel good about it honestly. I can’t let myself slip into any negativity about how the process will go, as it truly is completely out of my control. I just have to show up, and finish the course. I may ask some questions as the process unfolds. Thanks again for your prompt response, and I look forward to keeping you, and everyone on here updated about my results.

    I’m excited!
