Are they slowly increasing the power until you can adjust? If not, they should be. It took me at least 2 weeks to get to the full 120% power because my power prescription was exceptionally high. I took 2 Tylenol an hour before my treatments. I’m now used to it, and it’s definitely not as painful as it was when I initially started. It’s not the most comfortable thing, but it’s tolerable. I would ask them to lower the power % to 50% and work your way up.
